The book was officially launched at a prestigious event by Hon. Mudrick Ramadhan Soraga, then Minister of Tourism and Heritage, Zanzibar, marking an important moment for the preservation and sharing of cultural traditions.
At the heart of the book are recipes lovingly curated by Zarina Jafferji, shaped by years of family knowledge and careful research. Each dish is brought to life through evocative photography by Javed Jafferji, complemented by striking aerial imagery from the Drone Zanzibar Team, capturing both the intimacy of home cooking and the broader cultural landscape.
